DUDLEY Council is set to announce it has a new deputy leader which the News can reveal is Cllr Stuart Turner.
The authority’s finance cabinet member was chosen by members of the council’s ruling Labour group at a vote last night (December 4).
Cllr Turner, who will retain the finance portfolio, was elected to be a Dudley councillor in 2011 and represents the Gornal ward.
He said: "I am thrilled to take on the role of deputy leader and look forward to supporting the new leader to help continue our work as a community council."
