A NEW housing support drop in session has been launched in Kates Hill following success in other borough areas.
Dudley Council’s housing services provides a free housing support drop in service, which is available to anyone who needs assistance to maintain their independence.
The new session is being held every Monday at 13 Cromwell Street, from 10am until 12noon.
Advice and guidance about a range of issues is on offer, including budgeting and finances, welfare benefits, completing a range of application forms and available local resources.
Councillor Gaye Partridge , cabinet member for housing, said: “We have drop in sessions at locations throughout the borough ensuring as many residents have access to the free service as possible.
"Anyone who is worried about keeping their home or independence can just drop into one of the sessions, as no appointment is necessary.
"They are able to have a chat to someone who is impartial, put things into context and gather help and advice.
“I hope those visiting, or living near, Kates Hill, takes up the opportunity to visit the service to find out more.”
