BUDDING writers looking to unleash their creativity could find inspiration at Dudley library’s creative writing workshop.
The two-hour session next Saturday (September 24) will be run by authors Kerry Hadley-Pryce and Ken Preston.
Kerry has a masters degree in creative writing and has published an anthology of short fiction as well as an acclaimed novel entitled The Black Country.
While Ken has written novels and short stories including romance, horror and crime. He has also produced young adult novels about pirates and dinosaurs and runs a book design company for independent authors.
The workshop will run from 10am to 12noon and is open to both new and experienced writers who want to try their hand at short fiction, poetry or a novel.
Additional workshops will run on October 1, 15 and November 5.
The cost of each session is £10.
Councillor Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “The workshops provide a creative and supportive environment and both Kerry and Ken have the practical experience to help develop skills and ideas.”
