POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Dudley left a motorcyclist with severe head injuries.
Emergency services were called to Duncan Edwards Way (Dudley Southern Bypass) at the junction with the A461, just after 7am this morning (Thursday) following the crash, which involved the bike and a car that was towing another car.
The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 30s, was given advanced pain relief at the scene before he was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Sergeant Alan Wood, from West Midlands Police’s Collision Investigation Unit, said: "The road would have been quite busy at this time in the morning and we appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision who hasn’t yet spoken to us to get in touch.”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101.
