PEOPLE that have found themselves snowed in can tune into Gornal Christmas Radio, which is now live on air.
The festive station has been launched by Reverend Kevin Jones and is being broadcast from his home in Sedgley.
It launched on Saturday and broadcasts from 87.7FM between 7am and 10pm.
Listeners can expect to hear lots of carols, competitions and interviews, plus readings from the Black Country Bible and C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The project has been sponsored by five Gornal Methodist churches (Upper Gornal, Lake Street, Five Ways, Himley Road and Zoar) and will run until Christmas Eve.
Rev Jones, who will be presenting the breakfast show, said: "I was inspired during prayer. I have been involved in hospital radio in the past and have been on a couple of broadcasting courses so I thought it was worthwhile giving it a go.
"Rather than focusing on the commercial side of Christmas, we will be telling the faith story and explaining some Christmas traditions."
Anyone who wants to contribute to the station, should email gornalchristmasradio@gmail.com or text GCR followed by a message to 07419789093.
