AFTER a mixed day of weather across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire yesterday, today is expected to see more rain, sleet and hail.

Throughout the morning there will be a band of locally heavy rain, sleet and hail, with a risk of gales steadily clears eastwards. Temperatures are expected to be around the 4°C mark.

Later in the afternoon it will turn drier and brighter, but it will feel cold, especially in the wind, with temperatures reaching highs of 6°C.

This evening will be initially dry, clear and cold with a widespread frost forming. However, strengthening winds and increasing amounts of cloud will arrive from the west later on. Minimum temperatures of -3°C are expected.
