A SEDGLEY bakery has been giving away sausage rolls, pasties and cakes to feed the homeless.
Volunteers from Wolverhampton Homeless Action Team visit Greggs in Dudley Street on Monday evenings to collect the unsold produce, which tis distributed via a stall set up in Fold Street car park, Wolverhampton.
"The goodies from Greggs make a huge difference, we'd struggle without them," said volunteer Teressa Longhurst.
"There's usually about £50's worth of stuff and it all goes - we have nothing left at the end of the night.
"We also take flasks with us to make hot drinks and Pot Noodle and give out clothing."
Teressa said the charity, which has volunteers in Dudley and Kingswinford, offers a collection service to anyone who wishes to donate and picks up can be arranged via the Facebook page Wolverhampton Homeless Action Team.
