MOTOR fans flocked to the Classic & Retro Show which took at place Himley Hall on Sunday

The show featured hundreds of vehicles as well as trade and autojumble stands.

There were also a number of static displays to see including saloons, sports, American, commercial, military and classic motorcycles.

More than 35 motoring clubs attended with their members and private owners brought along all manner of models from original cars in long-term family ownership to the lovingly rebuilt, including a barn-find 1971 Morris Minor restored from a bare shell.

This year’s show celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Ford Escort that was launched back in 1968, and many examples were on display.

Fans of family classics were also able to admire favourites from the likes of Austin, Triumph, Vauxhall, and Volkswagen but the show also featured a selection of more exotic marques including Lotus, Porsche, Maserati, and DeLorean.
