PEOPLE can find out how to keep independent, safe and warm this winter at an event in Dudley.
Healthwatch Dudley has teamed up with the Living Well Feeling Safe partnership and Dudley Community Information Point Network to host the free event on Wednesday, October 17.
A variety of organisations will be on hand to offer home security and heating tips alongside information about local services that can be tapped into.
Deb Atwood from Healthwatch Dudley said: “There is a whole host of help and information that can be accessed locally but people don’t always realise how much is out there.
"This event is a great way of highlighting some of the essential support available that can help people to live well and feel safe in their own homes.”
The event will take place in the main hall at DY1 Community Building in Stafford Street between 10am and 3pm.
People are invited to drop in at any time for free refreshments and to browse the information stands available.
