CHRISTMAS trees decorated by groups and businesses will return for a second year at the Red House Glass Cone.

The Christmas Tree Festival returns to the visitor attraction in High Street, Wordsley from Sunday November 18.

Groups and businesses are asked to provide uniquely decorated trees for the display, which will help to raise money for the Mayor of Dudley’s three chosen charities through donations.

It is free to enter a tree and anyone in the community is welcome to take part.

Councillor Keiran Casey, cabinet member responsible for tourism, said: "We held the first Christmas Tree Festival at the Cone last year and it was huge success, encouraging creativity from local schools, groups and businesses.

"I am delighted that the event is planned again for 2018 and I would encourage local people to take part and help transform our visitor attraction once again."

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm and Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 4pm and admission is free.
