A HOST of events for carers in the borough are set to place at the new Dudley Carers Hub.
Carers are invited to attend a free event on Friday November 30 at the Queens Cross Network on Wellington Road to learn about safeguarding and how to report any worries about an adult who may be at risk.
The event takes place from 10am to 2pm and free lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Christmas craft sessions will also be taking place at the Hub on Tuesday December 4 and Tuesday December 11 from 1pm-3pm for decoration and candle making, while the usual monthly carers cafe will return on Thursday December 20.
Councillor John Martin, cabinet member for adult social care, said: "Carers play a crucial role in our communities, with many working around the clock caring for a loved one or friend.
"We want to support them through this new carers hub, and I would encourage people to come along to one or more of the events to see for themselves how we can help and support them.”
