A STOURBRIDGE man stole £157.23 worth of meat from Aldi, a court has heard.

Glyn Davies, aged 57, of Mamble Road, Stourbridge, pleaded guilty to stealing the meat from Aldi at Dudley Magistrates Court on December 19. He was ordered to pay £150 in fines, compensation and costs.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court on December 18 and 19.

Jamie Nightingale, aged 26 of Bruford Road, Wolverhampton, pleaded guilty to stealing £10 worth of items from Poundland. He received a conditional discharge of 12 months and was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Amy Billingham, aged 26, of Simmonds Place, Wednesbury, pleaded guilty to committing fraud against a person in her care while working as a carer for adults with disabilities. She received a 16 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. Dudley Magistrates Court also ordered her to pay £990.50 in compensation, costs and a victim surcharges.

Kris Pugh, aged 32, of Beacon View House, West Bromwich, pleaded guilty to assaulting Toni Jones on December 16. He received a 16 week prison sentence suspended for 18 months, along with a curfew for 16 weeks with electronic monitoring. He must also carry out 120 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. Pugh was also banned from contacting Toni Jones directly or indirectly. He was also ordered to pay £300 in compensation, £115 in victim services and £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Andrew Mallen, aged 52, of Bank Street, Brierley Hill, pleaded guilty to stealing £300 of cash from Vera Harris in October. He was ordered to pay fines, compensation and costs totalling £450.

Adam Upton, aged 30, of New Street, Gornal Wood, pleaded guilty to assaulting Joanne Edmunds and causing £100 worth of damage to her internet cables and an external light. He received a community order, is banned from contacting Joanne Edmunds and was ordered to pay compensation, fines and costs totalling £870.

Dwain Carty, aged 29, of Vauxhall Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis in Birmingham last August. He was order to pay £415 in fines, compensation and costs and the drugs were ordered to be destroyed.

Adam Lockley, aged 31, of The Straits, Sedgley, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Goldthorn Road. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and was ordered to pay fines, costs and compensation totalling £265.

Lee Edwards, aged 46, of Harcourt Drive, Dudley, pleaded guilty to assaulting Sarah Edwards in Oldbury. He received a conditional discharge of 12 months and was ordered to pay £135 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 surcharge to fund victim services.
