A SECOND man has been charged with the murder of father-of-four Yasir Hussain.
Akarsh Tasleem, aged 23, of Broadway West, Walsall, appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday January 9), charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday January 11.
Mr Hussain was found with fatal stab wounds in Lower Gornal on December 4.
Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from the force’s homicide department, said: "This is another significant step forward in our enquiries. My thoughts remain with Mr Hussain’s family who have been kept fully updated with this development.”
A man was charged with murder last month and was remanded in custody awaiting trial, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for February at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
