A HALESOWEN woman pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers in the exercise of their duty, Dudley Magistrates' Court has heard.

Sarah Plowman, aged 35, from Long Innage, pleaded guilty to two charges of assaulting officers in the exercise of their duty. She received a Community Order and was ordered to pay costs, compensation and victim surcharge totalling £485.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates' Court.

Wayne Hatton, aged 48, of High Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to destroying a window in Netherton and causing £100 worth of damage. He received a restraining order banning him from entering Upton Street, Netherton, for a year. He was also ordered to pay fines, costs and compensation totalling £345.

Ashley Rollinson, aged 23, of Wavell Road, Brierley Hill, pleaded guilty to stealing items from Co-Op in Tipton worth £41.75. He was jailed for eight weeks due to previous convictions for similar offences and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Leon Evans, aged 40, of Darbys Hill Road, Tividale, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine. He was ordered to pay costs, compensation and fines totalling £120.

Zoe Hollyoake, aged 27, of Appley Way, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Lyde Green with 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months and was ordered to pay costs, fines and compensation totalling £305.

Parbhjit Singh, aged 39, of Chelsea Road, Edgbaston, pleaded guilty to stealing three bottles of vodka from Asda in Merry Hill worth £46 and stealing nine bank cards. He received a conditional discharge for 12 months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Jaisal Patel, aged 24, of Charles Hayward Drive, Sedgley, pleaded guilty to failing to co-operate with a roadside breathalyser test. He received a community order to complete 150 hours of unpaid work; is disqualified from driving for 17 months and was ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge totalling £220.

James Gregory, aged 35, of Clarence Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to stealing a bag in Dudley, the value of the contents unknown. He received a conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £25 in compensation, £70 costs and a victim surcharge of £20.

Tabrez Ahktar, aged 27, of Chapel Street, Lye, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine in Stourbridge. The court ordered the drugs to be destroyed and Ahktar was told to pay fines, costs and compensation totalling £560.
