PLUNGING temperatures have prompted The Met Office to issue a yellow warning for the west midlands region.
Forecasters say people can expect icy patches and wintery showers from 10pm tonight (Wednesday January 16) until 11am tomorrow (January 17).
Untreated roads, footpaths and cyclepaths may be affected by slippery conditions which could lead to slips and falls.
