A 1960's themed band will be playing the biggest hits of the decade at a homecoming show next month.
The Zoots will bring their nostalgic 60's show to the Brierley Hill Civic Hall in February, giving lead guitarist Adam Woodhouse, who grew up in Netherton, the chance to play in front of family and friends.
Adam said: "The Zoots have played in front of audiences on four continents, from Havana to Washington, Dubai to Dubrovnik— but there's something especially nerve-wracking about playing to a home crowd, especially when your mum and all her friends are there."
Lead singer Jamie Goddard said: "When Adam admitted that he was nervous to play in front of his family, I persuaded him that it would be a great opportunity to play at Brierley Civic Hall, in front of his school friends and family! At least there would be a guaranteed crowd!”
The band promise to take audiences back to the Swinging Sixties by performing songs by The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, The Shadows, The Small Faces, The Beach Boys and Cliff Richard.
The Zoots will celebrate their tenth anniversary this year, having last year completed their first theatre tour and they received a nomination for international cover band of the year.
'The Sounds of the Sixties' comes to Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Friday February 8.
Tickets are available now.
