A HORROR smash involving two cars left left one woman trapped and another injured in Dudley yesterday evening (Sunday January 20).
The crash took place on Birmingham New Road in Coseley around just before 7pm, outside Rosewood Animal Hospital.
Two ambulances attended the scene, as well as ten firefighters from Dudley and Bilston, who freed a woman trapped in a car.
One man from the same car was able to free himself from the vehicle.
The woman suffered rib injury and the man sustained chest pains.
A boy, who was also in the car, was uninjured.
The driver of the other vehicle was able to free himself from his car and was uninjured.
Paramedics treated two patients, a middle aged man and woman.
Both were taken to New Cross hospital as a precaution.
The cars were made safe by the fire service and the north bound lane of the Birmingham New Road was temporarily closed.
Police were also in attendance.
