IS this the most homely pub in Dudley?

For Dean Perks it certainly is, as the boozer is right in his living room.

The pub sits in the living room of Dean's three-bedroom house on Vale Street, Upper Gornal, meaning does not have to travel far for a good pint.

Dean, aged 47, explained: "It's all oak panelling and has a beautiful ornate door and beer coolers that you would find in any pub."

The bar was taken from an unknown nearby Gornal watering hole and includes a draught beer line.

The house was converted from a 19th century warehouse which played a part in Gornal's nail making industry, and the pub was already installed when he bought the house 11 years ago.

Dean, a kitchen and bathroom fitter, said: "It's great, we can go out without actually going out.

"Man caves don't come much better than this!"

For anyone interested in becoming a landlord of their living room, the house is currently on the market for £275,000.
