A 57-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a Halesowen hairdresser and will stand trial later this year.
The case of Martyn Turley was listed for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday (February 14).
Turley is charged with murdering Stuart Roe in Halesowen on Sunday, December 30, 2018.
Mr Roe, who owned Mr Trim barbers in Quarry Bank High Street, was stabbed to death shortly after he left the Britannia pub in Halesowen Street, Rowley Regis.
The trial date has been set for June 24 and the defendant, Mr Turley, has been remanded in custody.
