HERE’S your evening news round-up for the Black country and North Worcestershire.

A Brierley HILL family were left shaken and distressed after a car crashed into a wall in front of their house in a smash and run.

The hit and run is believed to have involved two vehicles, leaving the front of a house wrecked on Norwood Road in Brockmoor on Saturday February 16.

The drivers of the two vehicles, a Transit van and a Mondeo, have not yet been located.

A Dudley woman stole perfume from Debenhams, Dudley Magistrates' Court has heard.

Melanie Cleaver, aged 39, of Osprey Drive, was given a Community Order and ordered to pay £249 in compensation after pleading guilty to two counts of stealing perfume from Debenhams.

Dog owners in Worcestershire are being warned to be alert after an outbreak of a killer disease.

Canine Parvovirus (CPV) has already killed eight animals in the county this year and is highly infectious.

Redditch will be getting a share of £410,000 to help revamp the area around the town's rail station.
