A MAN in his late 50s has been taken to hospital after suffering serious head injuries.
A land ambulance, along with the air ambulance and response vehicles attended the scene on Manchester Road in Woolston at about 10.40am, this morning, Tuesday.
The man was assessed and taken to Salford Royal Hospital with injuries to his head.

Witnesses have said they believe he fell from scaffolding.
