A man has been taken to hospital after being rescued after entering the water in Conwy.
Llandudno Coastguard were called at about 10.45am on Wednesday with reports a person had entered the water.
The Conwy RNLI lifeboat was tasked with immediate launch but the Harbour Authority rescued the person before the boat could be launched.
The casualty was taken to the RNLI boathouse to warm up, with blankets and hot drinks, and was assessed by a member of the coastguard.
The person was then handed to the care of the ambulance service and taken to hospital for further assessment.
A North Wales Ambulabce spokesperson said: "We received a call at approximately 10:50am today to an incident near Conwy Bridge, Conwy.
"We responded with an emergency ambulance and one male patient was conveyed to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor."
