MUSEUMS across the Dudley borough will be throwing open their doors to families over the Easter holidays.

An Easter themed hunt around the grounds of the Red House Glass Cone takes place on the first weekend of the Easter school holidays on April 13 and 14 from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors will also be able to browse a youth arts and crafts market, which will be held within the Dudley Council-run venue, over the weekend.

The Cone will be hosting craft sessions for youngsters over the holidays with an Easter wreath craft session for children on Tuesday April 16 and Dragon themed glass fusion sessions on Tuesday April 23 and Thursday April 25.

Over at Dudley Museum at the Archives, an Easter crafts session will be held on Wednesday April 17 with needle felting skills on offer from 10.30am to noon and 1 to 2.30pm.

A dinosaur themed family day takes place on April 24 from 10.30am to 2.30pm, which includes crafts for children.

The museum is also running free activities on Saturday April 27, including a fossil themed session suitable for children aged over five-year-old, from 10.30am to noon
