A ROWLEY Regis man has appeared in court after a 29-year-old man suffered a serious head injury after being knocked unconscious in a fight outside a pub.
The incident happened outside the Fox & Goose pub in Greets Green Road, West Bromwich, at around 8pm on Friday (April 5).
Nathan Bell, of Highmoor Road, has been charged with wounding with intent and appeared at Dudley Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday), where he was remanded in custody.
The 34-year-old will appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on May 7.
A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "Nathan Bell, aged 34, of Highmoor Road in Rowley Regis has been charged with wounding with intent and appeared at Dudley Magistrates' Court."
Police sealed off the road for a number of hours as an urgent investigation was launched.
