A WOMAN is being sought by police after an 84-year-old woman suffered a broken hip when she was hit by a mobility scooter in Rowley Regis.

The incident happened on the High Street on Friday February 8 and police have now released a photo of a woman they wish to speak to.

Police say the woman riding the scooter did not give her details to the injured woman or show her any concern.

The victim was initially treated in hospital and is still in a rehabilitation centre and is slowly recovering from her injury, according to Sandwell Police.

Anyone with information or knows who was riding the scooter is asked to police on 101 giving log number 951 of 8 February.
