Substances believed to be drugs were seized during a police raid.

It came after a drugs warrant was carried out in Shaftesbury yesterday.

Police could not reveal the exact address as it may lead to the identification of vulnerable people.

Pictures of the drugs raid show officers using a manual battering ram to break down a door.

A quantity of suspected Class B drugs were seized and a man is assisting officers with their enquiries.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Officers executed a warrant at an address in the town at around 10am .

“A small quantity of suspected class B drugs were seized and one man is assisting officers with their enquiries.

“Local officers are committed to tackling suspected drug related offences and are indebted to members of the public for providing information that helps to build an intelligence picture.”
