Weldmar Hospicecare has appointed a new chaplain to help support patients and their loved ones.
A special service was held at Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester to welcome LucyAnn Ashdown to her new role.
It was led by the Bishop of Sherborne, the Right Reverend Karen Gorham.
Caroline Hamblett, Chief Executive at Weldmar Hospicecare said “We are delighted to welcome LucyAnn as our new Chaplain at Weldmar Hospicecare. We understand that everybody has their own beliefs, and their own ways of expressing that. LucyAnn will be part of our team who supports patients and their loved ones in finding a way for them to express their spirituality in ways that are right for them.”
