STOURBRIDGE Theatre Company is hosting Jeffrey Archer's classic whodunit The Perfect Murder at Stourbridge Town Hall this week.
The play, adapted for the stage by Hugh Janes, will run from May 16 to 18.
Former MP Archer's tale follows married man John who has been having an affair with secretary Carla Moorland.
After John sees a man leaving her flat, he quarrels with Carla and accidentally strikes her.
He leaves unnoticed but then anonymously tips off the police to say he saw a man, Paul Menzies, leaving Clara's flat.
The murder inquiry receives vast media attention and Paul Menzies is eventually arrested and brought to trial to await a verdict.
Tickets for the show cost £10 (£8 concessions) and are available online at www.stourbridgetheatre.co.uk or from The French Deli, Coventry Street, Stourbridge, or call 0333 666 3366.
