Police officers are working with the council to crackdown on anti-social behaviour in Weymouth.
The Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) patrol officers were out in full force on Tuesday.
The officers used to be employed by Weymouth and Portland Borough Council but are now under the remit of the new Dorset Council.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Our CSAS patrol officer colleagues issued a Community Protection Notice (CPN) warning to an individual who has been reported as regularly causing anti-social behaviour on the Esplanade.
“A CPN was also issued to another individual who had failed to abide by a previous warning he had been given.
“If either of these individuals continue to act in an anti-social manner further action can be taken. This is another example of working in partnership to reduce anti-social behaviour and criminal behaviour in the town.”
