Commuters faced disruption this morning due to a train fault.
The train fault occurred between Poole and Weymouth and some lines were blocked as a result.
A spokesman for South Western Railway said: “We have been informed that a train has developed a fault in the Wareham area.
“This means that some lines are currently blocked and trains are unable to travel towards Weymouth.
“The train crew are in contact with our fleet maintenance team who are investigating and working towards fixing the fault.
“There is also a fault with a train in the Bournemouth area which is further affecting services on this line.
“Until these issues are fixed trains may be delayed or revised at short notice. Disruption is expected until 12:00pm.”
