BIG hearted staff from Blackheath-based Black Country Housing Group pulled out all the stops to raise £8,500 for mental health charity Birmingham Mind.
Employees took part in a range of activities to raise the cash but also increased awareness of mental health issues at the same time.
Staff staged car washes, sports days, vintage tea parties, staff trips, raffles and various staff walks to boost funds.
Fund raising eventually culminated with an event in Kingswinford which helped boost the total further.
But apart from fundraising, BCHG have also taken steps to focus on the mental health of their own employees.
To make sure staff get the support they need, BCHG have set up Black Country Buddies which is a free and confidential advice service offered to all colleagues.
In addition, free mental health and wellbeing events are also available to all employees.
Amanda Tomlinson, who is the chief executive of BCHG said: "Mental health, both in and outside of the workplace is an increasingly talked about subject and it is becoming more important for businesses to take action.
"We have been working hard to offer our staff the support they need by signing up to the West Midlands Combined Authority's Thrive at Work programme which commits to promoting employee health and wellbeing."
