Brighton and Hove's turnout for the European elections has been announced. 

Of the 195,874 of people eligible to vote in the city, 91,734 went to the polls. 

This makes the turnout for the city 46.83 per cent. 

Although the national turnout has not been officially announced, it is predicted to be about 38 per cent. 

The turnout in Northern Ireland was 45.14 per cent

The last national poll put Nigel Farage's Brexit Party on top with 37 per cent of the vote.

The Lib Dems were in second on 19 percent.

Labour were on 13 per cent, the Greens on 12 and the Conservatives on seven.
