VOTERS in the Dudley borough have overwhelmingly backed the Brexit Party in the European Parliamentary elections.
The party - led by former UKIP leader Nigel Farage - won 34,149 votes, a massive 47 per cent of votes, with its closest rival the Labour trailing way behind on 10,620.
The results in full for Dudley borough are:
Brexit Party 34,149 (47%)
Labour 10,620 (15%)
Lib Dem’s 8,051 (11%)
Conservatives 7,510 (10%)
Green Party 5,317 (7%)
UKIP 4,488 (6%)
Change UK 1,868 (3%)
Sarah Norman, Dudley Council Chief Executive, announced the results on twitter. They have been submitted to Birmingham City Council to be added to the rest of the region's votes.
The full results, for the West Midlands region, will be published by @BhamCityCouncil.
