BROMSGROVE Sporting boss Brendan Kelly has confirmed the capture of a new striker remains his top priority.
Kelly needs to fill the void left by Jason Cowley's dream move to League Two side Stevenage Borough on a two year deal.
Busy Kelly has already received an unexpected bonus being luring long-serving Leon Broadhurst away from rivals Stourbridge.
Broadhurst has played a staggering 780 games for the Glassboys but the 35-year-old has now opted on a return to his hometown club.
It means Broadhurst can continue his midfield partnership with Robbie Thompson-Brown, another of Kelly's close season captures from Stourbridge.
Kelly said: "I didn't really think I'd get Leon, I honestly thought he'd stay at Stourbridge. He's a massive signing for us because he brings vast experience to the midfield
Kelly has also recruited former Halesowen Town, Stourbridge and Rushall Olympic central defender Joe Hull and added: "We've got the two players that I originally targeted. We're probably looking at bringing in three more players maximum which I hope to complete within the next 10 days.
"We also have a number of trialists coming in for pre-season which starts on June 27 who I will take a look at.
"I've still got four from last season's squad that I need to speak with but all the rest have agreed to stay. Why would they want to go anywhere else?"
Kelly has also agreed to a string of pre-season friendlies that include Littleton, Kidderminster Harriers, Boldmere St Michaels, Cheltenham Town, AFC Wakefield and AFC Dunstable.
