A HALESOWEN mum will be ‘braving the shave’ by going bald for charity in memory of two close relatives who have died of cancer.
Mother-of-one Rachel Griffin, 44, is having her head shaved on June 29 to raise funds for the Mary Stevens Hospice.
The hospice is the chosen charity of Rachel’s employers, insurance brokers Gravity Risk Services, who are based in Stourbridge.

Rachel’s father-in-law Les Griffin and her aunt Fay Barton both died from cancer and she is taking on the challenge as a tribute to them both.
She is hoping to raise more than £1,000 for the hospice with the charity stunt.
Rachel plans to hold a barbecue to coincide with the head shave and is also welcoming gifts for a tombola on the day – anyone with donations can call 07517 542611.
