POLICE are on the hunt to find members of an 'armed gang' after a brick was thrown at a car window after a crash.

Officers were called to reports of a three car crash on Mount Pleasant, Quarry Bank, yesterday (Monday), at around 1.15pm.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said a number of people at the scene were carrying weapons and fled.

A brick was also launched at one of the car windows during the incident.

Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident. No arrests have been made.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to Mount Pleasant, Quarry Bank, at around 1.15pm yesterday (Monday) to reports of a collision involving three cars.

"A brick is believed to have been thrown at the window of one of the vehicles during the incident.

"A number of people, some believed to have been carrying weapons, left the scene.

"There were no reports of injuries and no arrests."
