AN AIR ambulance was called to Wollaston after a woman suffered a medical emergency in a car.
Medics were called to Vicarage Road at around 3.40pm this afternoon (July 2).
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene, along with a Critical Care Car, two ambulances and a paramedic officer.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was in a car.
"She received specialist trauma care at the scene and was taken by land ambulance to Russells Hall hospital in a serious condition."
