A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after two cars crashed in Colley Gate this afternoon (Wednesday).
The accident happened on Windmill Hill at 3.53pm - with traffic still reported to be queueing in both directions.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said one ambulance attended and took a woman, who was the driver of one of the cars, to Russells Hall Hospital, with injuries not believed to be serious.
He said: "She managed to get herself out of the car.
"One of our transport service vehicles also stopped at the scene to help.
"Another patient was discharged at the scene."
The accident has caused tailbacks as police and the fire service were also in attendance.
