POLICE are warning users of dating sites to be wary after an unlucky Halesowen resident had their car stolen as they slept.
Halesowen Police tweeted about the theft which happened last night.
They did not reveal the location of the incident, but tweeted: "One unlucky person had their car taken from them last night while they slept after meeting someone on a dating site.
"Fortunately for them, the car was abandoned a few miles from their house with the keys still in the ignition!
"Please be careful when using dating sites!"
