A FORMER Dudley student will bring the hits of The King, Elvis Presley, to the town next month.
Richard Griffin returns to the Banqueting Suite at Dudley Town Hall on September 6, following on from last year's smash hit debut performance at the town centre venue.
The gig will be something of a homecoming for Richard, who studied at Bishop Milner Catholic College, and later at Halesowen College.
Richard said: "The career of Elvis Presley is legendary and his songbook runs to a thousand songs. I will open the songbook and explore the classic hits whilst also including the work of the many artists whose material Elvis also performed."
The show will include favourites including 'My Way', 'Green Green Grass Of Home', 'Proud Mary', 'Suspicious Minds', 'Blue Suede Shoes', 'Sweet Caroline' and 'An American Trilogy'.
Tickets are on sale now and can be booked by calling the box office on 01384 812812.
