A DUDLEY man was jailed after stealing laundry capsules and breaching probation rules.

Shafiq Mohamed, aged 37, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to stealing £40 worth of laundry capsules from Wilko and admitted breaching a probation requirements. He was jailed for six weeks and ordered to pay a £122 surcharge, at Dudley Magistrates' Court.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates' Court last week.

Jamie Jackson, aged 31, of Addenbrooke Road, Warley, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and admitted possessing six bags of cocaine and 26 bags of cannabis. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £185 costs.

Porsha Melendez, aged 38, of Laurel Road, Dudley, was found guilty of possessing two kitchen knives in a public place. She received a community order with a curfew and must pay a surcharge and costs totalling £430.

Kelly McConnell, aged 36, of High Street, Rowley Regis, pleaded guilty to stealing five cartons of Tassimo latte from Sainsburys worth £49.90. She received a community order with a curfew and was ordered to pay a £90 surcharge.

Nafis Ahmed, aged 34, of St Marks Road, Lye, pleaded guilty to causing unlawful damage to a window worth £505.00. He was fined £220 and was ordered to pay £505.50 in compensation, a £32 surcharge and £135 costs.

Liam Evitts, aged 24, of Hillside Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to driving in Cradley Heath over the legal alcohol limit. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 20 months and was ordered to pay a fine, surcharge and costs totalling £307.

Jason Harper, aged 44, of Orchard Grove, Lower Gornal, pleaded guilty to producing and possessing cannabis. He was ordered to pay £417 in a fine, surcharge and costs.

David Furnival, aged 42, of Dale Terrace, Oldbury, pleaded guilty to stealing £141 worth of tablets from Wilko in Dudley. He received a community order and must pay a surcharge and costs totalling £140.

Hayden Totney, aged 23, of Dingle View, Sedgley, pleaded guilty to breaking a restraining order. He was fined £250 and was ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £185 costs.
