A BUSY Gornal school run route will be only be open to traffic one-way this week.
Robert Street in Lower Gornal will be made one-way to traffic travelling from the Five Ways roundabout.
The system is set to cause a headache for those on the school run heading to and and from Roberts Primary School as the new school year kicks off.
The one-way traffic route will be in place from the roundabout to the junction with Loweswater Drive and traffic travelling south towards the Five Ways roundabout will be diverted via Deepdale Lane and Lake Street.
The system will be in place until Monday September 9 to allow for urgent electrical repairs to be carried out.
