A MAN was taken to hospital after being hit over the head with a bottle following a row with a gang teenagers in Sedgley.
The assault happened at Coronation Gardens last night (Saturday, September 21) and police are now appealing for information.
Police say it is believed the 27-year-old was hit on the head with a bottle following a row with a number of teenage boys.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson said: "Police were called to Dudley Street, Sedgley, at around 8.20pm yesterday following reports that a 27-year-old man had been assaulted.
"It is believed he was hit on the head with a bottle in nearby Coronation Gardens, following a row with a number of teenage boys.
"The victim was taken to hospital for treatment."
