ONE man was taken to hospital following a crash between multiple vehicles on a Gornal road.

The crash happened on Robert Street, just before 8pm on Sunday, January 5.

The road was blocked while medics treated a man who was a passenger in one of the cars.

He was taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment but his injuries were not thought to be serious.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:55pm last night to reports of a multi vehicle RTC on Robert Street in Gornal. We sent one ambulance to the scene.

"We treated one patient, a man, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles. He was taken to Russell’s Hall Hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.”
