A MAN unlawfully broke a window and breached a restraining order at a house in Kates Hill, magistrates have heard.

Matthew Robinson, aged 32, of Milton Road, Smethwick pleaded guilty to attending an address in Kates Hill when banned from doing so due to a restraining order, at a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court. He also admitted causing unlawful damage to a double-glazed window to a property in Kates Hill. Robinson received a community order with a rehabilitation order and was ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £225.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court last week.

Camran Hussain, aged 29, of Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, admitted possessing a knuckle duster on Stourbridge High Street without legal authority. He also admitted driving along Stourbridge High Street without insurance. He received a community order and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. The court also ordered Hussain to pay £390 in a surcharge and costs.

Adam Bates, of Mossvale Close, Cradley Heath, admitted disorderly behaviour while drunk at St Michaels Street in West Bromwich. The 35-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £135 costs.

Kallum Dodd, aged 18, of Hanover Road, Rowley Regis must pay a court bill of £275 after admitting possessing cannabis and amphetamine in Halesowen. He also received a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.

Ross Langford, aged 50, of Avenue Road, Coseley, pleaded guilty to assaulting Leslie Bailey by beating him. He received a two-year conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £21 surcharge and £135 in costs.

Debra James, aged 56, of Wynall Lane, Wollescote admitted two counts of racially aggravated abusive behaviour. She received a 20 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months due to using serious racial language on two occasions. The court also issued a restraining order and told James to pay £300 in compensation and costs.

Dean Jones, aged 42, of Ednam Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to speeding a Mercedes on Stourbridge Road in Kidderminster. The court ordered Jones to pay a fine, surcharge and costs totalling £215.

Samantha Dragusin, aged 18, of Washwood Heath Road, Birmingham, admitted stealing jewellery worth £70 in Stourbridge. She also admitted wilfully obstructing a police constable in carrying out their duty. She was ordered to pay £152 in a surcharge and costs and received a community order with the requirement to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.

Sadie Tomlinson, aged 26, of Albert Street, Pensnett, pleaded guilty to damaging windows at the Union pub in Kingswinford without lawful excuse. She received a six-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £156.
