A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured following a crash involving a car and motorbike on Pensnett Trading Estate.
Two ambulances and a critical care car from the Midlands Air Ambulance raced to the scene on Second Avenue on the estate just after 7.15am this morning (February 12).
An ambulance service spokeswoman said a man, the motorcyclist, was given trauma care at the scene.
He was taken by land ambulance on blue lights to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment. A woman from the car suffered minor injuries and she was also taken to hospital.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.17am to Second Avenue in the Pensnett Trading Estate, Kingswinford to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcyclist.
"Two ambulances and a critical care car from the Midlands Air Ambulance attended.
"The motorcyclist, a man, received trauma care on scene after sustaining a serious injury before being taken by land ambulance on blue lights to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment. A woman from the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to the same hospital as a precaution."
