PANTO fans are in for a treat with a double whammy of Warrington talent taking to the stage.

Peter Pan is coming to The Brindley in Runcorn for a family-friendly Easter production from April 6 to 8.

Former Corrie star Steven Arnold will be playing the villain Captain Hook.

The former Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School student made his breakthrough in the BAFTA-winning short film, This Boy’s Story.

He then found fame on Coronation Street as Weatherfield’s butcher Ashley Peacock in 1995 and stayed with the soap before his character’s death in a tram crash in December 2010.

The dramatic scenes were filmed as part of Coronation Street’s 50th birthday episode.

Joining Steven is Andrew Curphey as Peter Pan.

He is well known in Warrington as he runs a theatre company and one of the classes is held at The Olive Tree Community Centre in Penketh.

The cast also includes another former Corrie star – Bruce Jones, who played Les Battersby, as Pirate Winkle.

Josephine Sherlock and Stuart Earp complete the main cast.
