A FARM in Hunnington is appealing for the public's support after many of its customers closed their businesses as the coronavirus grips the UK.
Hunnington Ayrshires, based at Horsepool Farm, usually sells its milk to the hospitality business - but with restaurants and cafes now told to close by the government trade has taken a nose dive.
Lisa Window-Walker posted a plea on Facebook for people to get behind the family-run farm to keep it afloat.
It is selling untreated milk from 8am till 11am and from 3pm till 7pm at the site on Bromsgrove Road, Hunnington.
She said: "Hunnington ayrshires have been here for 47 years - we normally sell all our milk to the hospitality business however our customers have had their business closed we are asking for your support to keep us in business please.
"We are a family farm with 3 generations working here so help us of you can we are selling our farm fresh untreated milk from 8am till 11 am and from 3pm till 7pm.
"Please bring containers if possible."
