STOURBRIDGE born historian Professor Kate Williams is to appear on TV quiz show Pointless tonight (Saturday March 28).
Prof Williams, author of Becoming Queen who hails from Stourton, will appear on the popular general knowledge quiz show - presented by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman - which asks contestants to try to come up with the least likely correct answers to a series of questions posed to members of the public.
The flame-haired TV historian and author is due to appear on the BBC show at 7.30pm alongside celebrity contestants including Kelly Cates, Adrian Chiles, Andy Hamilton, Mark Dolan, Rustie Lee, Esther Rantzen and Tim Vine.
