RESIDENTS in Grappenhall have expressed their anger at a large group of cyclists who congregated along the Bridgewater Canal this morning, Monday.
As seen in the picture, the cyclists were not keeping a two-metre distance between themselves.
Posting the image on social media, one resident said: “These cyclists were not from our locality.
“Why do they think they rule the roost on the Bridgewater Canal tow path?
“If they look at the bridges it says no cycling.
“Why don’t they ever obey rules of the roads and footpaths? It’s as though they are above the law.”
Another man said: “These are men and women who are flouting the law.”
